Of all the Beatles, George Harrison had the most “English” humor of the bunch. He had a dry wit that a lot of people missed when he spoke. It would sound like he was being serious but he was really making a joke.
In todays Sunday Funnies, George Harrison sings “The Pirate Song” on the BBC program Rutland Weekend Television 1975. Enjoy! Read more »
The first clip today is a funny scene from The Who’s movie The Kids Are Alright. It’s a bunch of short clips detailing the craziness that followed Keith Moon wherever he went. The man was just a tornado of craziness. The second clip is Steve Martin and Keith Moon doing a comedy sketch about musician ready motel rooms. It’s amazing to watch Keith Moon rip the thing apart for 3 minutes nonstop. He was just a ball of energy.
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope that all your Halloween gigs go well this year. Hopefully you’ll get to see some sexy ladies on the dance floor. If you’re not playing a gig, then get out and trick-or-treat and raise some hell with the kiddies. In celebration of Halloween I’m posting up a clip of the classic Halloween song “Monster Mash” by Bobby Pickett and The Cryptkickers. It’s an animation done by Gary Ramey and it’s quite well done. I appreciate the fact that the audio quality is so good which is hard to find on YouTube.
Now I don’t have anything against larger women. In fact, I quite enjoy them. That’s why I’m posting up Steel Panther’s song and video tribute to the larger woman. The song is called “Fat Girl (Thar She Blows)” and I’m sure you’ll find some pretty funny stuff in it.
Okay, first of all, Robin Trower absolutely kicks ass playing the guitar. I mean, he’s a joy to listen to. Now that being said, some guys make the funniest “Guitar Face” when they play. It can be the bane of the live musician if you’re feeling it when you’re playing but you look goofy at the same time.
So if you watch Robin Trower make the guitar face in this clip, I’m sure you’ll get a laugh or two out of it!

This is one of my favorite choreographed music videos. It didn’t cost a lot to make of course but the time involved working out all those moves on the treadmills and then choregraphing everything must have been a lot. It does take a lot of creativity and at Live Musician Central, creativity counts!
I don’t know who originally wrote this but I’ve seen it on a few forums and Blogs. If you’re the author, leave a comment and I’ll give you credit. It’s just so funny I had to post it on Live Musician Central.
How To Request A Song From The Band…
When requesting a song from the band, just say “play …. my song!” We have chips implanted in our heads with an unlimited database of the favorite tunes of every patron who ever walked into a bar and all songs ever recorded so feel free to be vague, we love the challenge. If we say we really don’t remember that tune you want, we’re only kidding. Bands do know every song ever recorded, so keep humming. Hum harder if need be… it helps jog the memory, or just repeat your request over and over again.
I found this great cartoon over on Calico Monkey, it’s a really cool Blog about cartoon animation written by Will Reinhardt. I thought you’d enjoy this one!
