There are many other great guitarists who have used the original Dunlop Crybaby Wah as well. It’s the wah-wah pedal that I use in my live rig as well as on all my recordings. The Dunlop Crybaby has never let me down, it has never broken and I’ve been using the same one, every gig for 12 years now. All I have to do is occasionally feed it a 9-volt battery which seems to last forever as long as I don’t leave the guitar cables plugged into the pedal when I’m not using it.

When I’m playing it’s hard to concentrate on my foot and doing microscopic pedal tweaks is a real challenge for me. With the Dunlop Original Crybaby I can give the pedal a good push and it doesn’t get out of control too easily. I really like it’s smooth response. It’s not an overly aggressive wah and I really like that about it.
