Hey everyone, it’s been 2 years since Live Musician Central went online. I’ve been posting information to help you improve your live band for two solid years and Live Musician Central has gotten a very good response. We’ve had 86,945 page views and have been averaging around 5,000 visits per month. That’s pretty good traffic for a non-commercial Blog/Website.
I’ve put up 603 posts including this one and you readers have responded with 445 comments. I thank you for that because the comments you leave let me know that you’re actually reading Live Musician Central. Leave as many comments as often as you want! I’ve also put up 18 pages such as the Fender Cyber-Twin SE preset patch download page and the Live Musician’s Special Offers And Discounts page.
As for the top content, the most popular page on Live Musician Central is the Fender Cyber-Twin SE Amplifier Preset Patch Download page. All you Cyber-Twin SE owners out there are making me proud to have my sound patches on your excellent amplifier. These are the sounds I use regularly with my various bands and I know they sound great. The next two most popular posts are my Sennheiser HD-380 Headphones Review and the post about my love of the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster.
I’ve enjoyed creating and writing Live Musician Central these last couple of years. It’s taken a ton of my time and I make about $50 a month from the advertising on the site. I think I make about .00001 cent per hour that I’ve spent creating Live Musician Central. It’s truly a labor of love doing Live Musician Central.
But it’s not my first love. My first love is playing live music in a rock-n-roll band. That’s why the posts have been coming slower lately. I’ve been playing a lot more gigs recently since I’ve started a band with my 3 oldest sons called Bonne Nuit. The other band I play in, Highway 6, is also picking up. With both bands working, I’ve actually played gigs the last 5 weekends in a row. So I’ve been very busy with rehearsals, learning new songs, repairing equipment and keeping everything ready for the road.
I’d much rather be playing music every night than working on a website. Still, I will continue to work on Live Musician Central with the focus on helping you improve your own live band. I’ve got years of experience and I enjoy having an audience to share that experience with. If you like something on Live Musician Central or would like to know more about a topic. Just leave a comment on any post and I will respond.
Thanks again for two great years and let’s all keep live music rolling all over the world! –Matt–
