  • Sunday Funnies – Yngwie Malmsteen Video Lesson

This is one of the funniest “shreds” type videos because whoever did the voice overdub says the most hilarious things. If you’ve ever heard or read Yngwie’s interviews from his younger days then you’ll remember how full of himself he used to be. He still is but he’s learned a tiny touch of humility over the years but in this clip parody it’s back to the good old “I’m your new God” Yngwie days. So have a good laugh at this custom Yngwie Mamlsteen video lesson.    (more…)

  • Sunday Funnies – Popstar

It’s sad but it’s funny to make fun of Popstars like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. I just couldn’t resist posting this video on Live Musician Central. Set to the tune of Nickleback’s song Rockstar, I thought it was pretty classic. Enjoy!    (more…)

  • Sunday Funnies – Guitar: Impossible

For the Live Musician Central Sunday Funnies today I’m posting a video by a YouTube user named MysteryGuitarMan. It’s not gut-busting funny but it’s fascinating to watch and the way he’s pieced the video together is funny. He’s playing Mozart’s “Marriage Of Figaro”. It’s had over 1 million views in two days which is pretty amazing in itself. Enjoy!

  • Sunday Funnies – Bass Player Amp Test

Oh yeah, we musicians are always trying to show how cool we are when we play our rock and roll but sometimes it all goes horribly wrong. I’ve seen amps used as chairs, stands, door props, drum risers and of course climbing gyms. If you’ve been playing for long I’m sure you’ve probably seen similar things to what you’ll see in the following clip. Have a good laugh on this poor sod!     (more…)

  • Sunday Funnies – Evolution Of Dance Video

What always goes hand in hand with live music? Dancing of course! There have been many unique styles of dancing that have gone hand in hand with the evolution of popular music. This video is funny to watch because it’s an accurate demonstration of how certain dance styles are instantly recognizable when paired with the music of that era.    (more…)

  • Sunday Funnies – Kiss Shreds Video “I Will Never Go To School”

This is a very interesting overdub of the Kiss video for their song “I Was Made For Loving You”. It looks like the song was written specifically to line up with what’s happening in this video. I can’t imagine the amount of time it took to write a song to match the video, lay down the tracks and line everything up with the video. It’s really funny to watch though and the captions make it even funnier. Enjoy!

  • Sunday Funnies – Hitler Sings “The Jeffersons” Theme

Ahhh how I love making fun of mass murdering ol’ Hitler. I got a good chuckle out of Hitler singing “The Jeffersons” theme.

  • Sunday Funnies – Eric Cartman – O Holy Night with Cattle Prod

This is one of my favorite clips from South Park. Eric Cartman can never seem to remember the lyrics to O Holy Night so Mr. Garrison resorts to a little shock therapy with a cattle prod wielded by Kyle. I especially like the part where Cartman’s voice changes and they all say “Wow!” this is classic South Park! Enjoy it because these videos don’t last long on YouTube.

  • Sunday Funnies – Nightmare Before Christmas\Christmas Time In Hell Mashup

Being a big fan of South Park I often enjoy Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics around the holidays. I always get a chuckle out of Satan singing Christmas Time In Hell. I couldn’t find the actual South Park clip on YouTube but I did find a very fine video\audio mashup of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Christmas Time In Hell. The creator of this video did a great job cutting in relevant video clips from Nightmare Before Christmas to the song. It’s surprisingly funny to watch it. I hope you enjoy a little Christmas humor today.   (more…)

  • Sunday Funnies – Bad Singing At Its Worst

I feel like you should never label anyone as the worlds worst singer. I believe that since every voice is unique that labeling and categorizing voices is simply a lame practice. That being said, singing skill level is definitely something that we can rate. So Robert Conway here gives it a good try, but his skill level is quite low. Thank heaven this young man has a good paying job at a chicken factory. His cover of Aqua’s Barbie Girl is hilarious though and I do think some background music and echo would have helped his performance immensely. Enjoy!   (more…)
