In honor of Memorial Day, let’s take time to remember who we lost in 2007.
- Brad Delp – Boston
- Dan Fogelberg – Wrote the “Leader Of The Band”
- Denny Doherty – Mamas and the Papas
- Frankie Laine – One of the most popular entertainers of the 1950s (“That Lucky Old Sun”, “Rawhide”)
- Max Roach – Jazz Musician, Jazz Drummer
- Luciano Pavarotti – Opera superstar hailed as “king of the high C’s.”
- Ike Turner – Rock innovator who teamed with wife Tina Turner
- Kevin Dubrow – Lead Singer of Quiet Riot (My band “In Stereo” opened for them in 2003)
- Don Ho – Singer of “Tiny Bubbles”
- Paul Raven – Bassist for bands Killing Joke and Ministry
- Porter Wagoner – Country Musician
I know there were others that I may have missed but all these that I’ve listed were great Live Musicians. May their spirit and their music live on forever!
I’ve created a Live Musician Central Memorial Day iMix
