I have quite a few guitar straps kicking around my practice room. My friends and family know I’m a guitar playing live musician so I get a lot of guitar accessories as gifts including guitar straps. I also get a free guitar strap every time I buy a guitar. It’s nice to have extra guitar straps because I keep several guitars out within easy reach so I can practice. That being said, I only use one guitar strap live and it’s the most comfortable strap I’ve ever used. That guitar strap is the Levy’s Boot Leather Guitar Strap.
So what makes this guitar strap so special that it would be the only strap I take to a gig? There are several things that make it great. Let me ask you a question, have you ever had to keep adjusting your guitar strap because it kept on loosening up while you jump around onstage? I have too, but the Levy’s Boot Leather Strap solves that problem by having a locking strap length adjuster. You just select a length and lock the strap in place and it never loosens up again. Another common problem with cheaper guitar straps is the button holes stretching and getting so loose that the guitar falls off. That’s a huge problem if you’re playing expensive guitars. The Levy’s Strap button holes are made out of boot leather that will not stretch. I still use strap locks because I don’t want to take any chances but the Levy’s Boot Leather Guitar Strap is extremely secure.
The best thing about the Levy’s Boot Leather strap is the 3″ padded glove leather back. The padding and the width of the strap make it extremely comfortable. I’m talking about comfort you never thought possible. I play a Les Paul Custom and that baby is heavy but the Levy’s Boot Leather Guitar Strap makes it feel light. The strap is worth every penny just because of the incredible amount of comfort that it gives you over the course of a four hour gig.
I’ve had my Levy’s Boot Leather Guitar Strap for about 9 years now and that strap looks and feels like new. I’ve used it at countless gigs and it has never let me down. I really can’t recommend this guitar strap enough. It’s one of those “must have” guitar accessories. They’re on sale right now at Musician’s Friend so you can save some cash on this excellent strap.
